Deposits Report

What it's for: tracking customer deposits collected on estimates before they become invoices.
KPI cards: Total Held, plus three aging buckets — 0–30 Days, 30–60 Days, 60+ Days — each showing the amount and count. The 60+ card turns red/amber/green based on how old your oldest held deposit is.
Table columns: Client, Project, Estimate, Invoice, Paid (payment date), Age (color-coded), Source (Manual / WorkPay / etc.), Status (Held / Applied / Refunded), and Amount (struck through if refunded). The Project, Estimate, and Invoice cells are clickable links.
Filters: status pills (All / Held / Applied / Refunded), age pills (All / 0–30 / 30–60 / 60+), client pills (when you have more than one), and search.
What to understand — this is the important one: a deposit collected on an estimate is a held liability, not revenue. It sits as "Held" until that estimate is converted to an invoice, at which point it flips to "Applied" (recognized against the invoice). Refunded deposits show struck-through. This is why deposits get their own report separate from Invoices & Payments — they're money you're holding, not money you've earned yet.
