What it's for: how much sales tax you've collected, by category and jurisdiction — built for filing.

KPI cards: Tax Collected (with your average effective rate), Pending Tax (collected on documents still awaiting client payment), Taxable Revenue, and Total w/ Tax.

Breakdown panels: Tax by Category (tax, transaction count, revenue, average rate per category) and Top Jurisdictions (by country, with share of total tax).

Region drill-down: an expandable Country → City/State → ZIP table with transactions, revenue, tax collected, and total-with-tax at each level.

Transactions table: transaction ID, Client/Project, Region, Category, Revenue, Tax Rate, Tax, Total, Date, and Status (Paid / Pending).

Filters: Tax Year buttons (it jumps to the most recent year that has data if the current year is empty), Category, Status (All / Paid / Pending), and search.

What to understand: the report is organized by the calendar year of each transaction's date. "Pending" tax is tax on documents the client hasn't paid yet — useful for distinguishing collected-and-owed from not-yet-collected.
