Reviewing responses in the quote
Written By Timothy Murenzi
Open any quote from the Quotes list (you also land on it right after sending). The quote page is where you compare vendors, make decisions and update your Library.

The header
Quote number and title, with a summary line: vendor count · item count · status.
Refresh — reloads the latest responses.
Create PO from accepted (N) — appears when accepted lines haven't been turned into purchase orders yet (see Turning accepted lines into purchase orders).
Close / Reopen — archive the quote or bring it back (see Closing, archiving and reopening).
Vendor chips
A row of chips shows each vendor's progress:
An eye icon with seen and a date/time shows when the vendor opened the request email.
Totals
Cards above the items show the Quoted total (and how many lines are priced, e.g. "2 / 5 priced"), the Accepted total (and how many lines are accepted), and a card per vendor with their subtotal.
Two ways to view the lines
By vendor
Each vendor gets its own table with the fields you asked for. This is where you act on lines: accept/reject, Apply to Library, Log a reply and Fill from PDF.
The Unit price cell shows the quoted price and, if the product has a cost in your Library, the difference — a green ↘ arrow when the quote is cheaper, with "was $X" underneath.
Compare
Every item from every vendor in one grid: Item, Vendor, Unit price, Ext. (unit price × quantity), Qty, vs Library, Availability, Lead time and Decision. Click any column heading to sort — for example, sort by Unit price to find the cheapest option.

Accept or reject a line
In By vendor view, find the line in the Decision column.
Click the green ✓ to accept or the red ✕ to reject.
The cell changes to Accepted or Rejected with the name of the person who decided.
Decisions are per line, so you can accept some items from a vendor and reject others. Your first decision moves the quote to Reviewing, and the Accepted total and Create PO from accepted count update straight away.
Apply pricing to your Library
Once a line has a quoted price, an Apply to Library button appears at the end of its row.
Click Apply to Library.
Workroom writes the quoted values into the matching Library product — the unit price becomes the product's cost, and other matching fields (such as lead time) update too. A confirmation shows how many fields were applied (e.g. Library item updated — 2 fields applied).
The item now shows an Applied to Library tag, and the button disappears.

Each change is recorded in the product's changelog (for example, the unit cost changing from 1186 to 640, and who made the change). Applying only updates your Library — it doesn't change the quote.
