Managing Scope of Work

Overview

Scope of Work (Overview section 06) states clearly what's included in the project and what isn't — the best defence against scope creep.

Edit it

1. Open the project → Overview → Scope.

2. Click Edit.

3. Add items under Included and Excluded.

4. Save.

Examples

• Included: "Living and dining room furnishing; lighting plan; two revision rounds."

• Excluded: "Kitchen cabinetry; exterior; art sourcing beyond three pieces."

• The scope in your signed contract lives under Contract & Legal (section 10).

Best practices

• Be specific.

• Update it as soon as the scope changes, and record why in Notes.

• Always list exclusions.
