Group lines by trade with cost codes, and see each code’s budget, committed, spent and what is left.

Cost codes group your lines by trade. Your client never sees them.

Cost codes

Each line has a Cost code. Turn on Use cost codes in Settings › Studio › Finances › Design-build. Your list of codes is there too.

Budget vs actual

Open the estimate’s side panel and click Budget vs actual. For each code it shows the budget, what is committed on purchase orders, what is spent, and what is left. Spent is signed-off bills, expenses and staff time at cost.
