How to create purchase orders from an approved estimate
Order everything your client approved, one purchase order per vendor, without typing it again.

Overview
Purchase orders come from the approved estimate. Workroom makes a draft for each vendor and contractor, at your cost.
Watch it: the Finances lesson in Campus, step 6, “Order and track”, chapter 1, “Purchase orders from an estimate” (starts at 0:08) and chapter 2, “Sending and sign-off” (starts at 0:27).
Steps
Open the approved estimate and click its status.
Choose Convert to purchase orders.

Check the list: one purchase order per vendor or contractor. Items already ordered are listed under Already on a purchase order and left out.
Click Create purchase orders.
Open each draft in Procurement, check it, and send it.

Good to know
Your own services stay off the orders.
Creating a purchase order doesn’t send it. You check and send each one.
Your studio can ask for a sign-off on bigger orders. Then the button reads Submit for sign-off.
