Importing a card statement

Bring in a card statement or spreadsheet: choose the file, match the columns, check, and import.

Written By Julia M.

Overview

Have a card statement? Import it instead of adding each expense by hand.

Watch it: the Finances lesson in Campus, step 5, “Time and expenses”, chapter 8, “Import from a spreadsheet” (starts at 2:40).

Steps

  1. In Finances › Expenses, click Import.

  2. Choose the file, then match its columns to Workroom’s.

  3. Check what is coming in. Workroom skips what is already logged and leaves out refunds and credits, and says why for each row.

  4. Click Import. The expenses come in as Pending.

Undo it

Undo import removes everything the import made, until any of it has been sent or changed.
