Reminders, expired and void estimates

Nudge your client, record an answer they gave by phone, reopen an estimate, extend one that expired, or void one nobody answered.

Overview

Click an estimate’s status to remind your client, record their answer, or reopen it. Estimates nobody answers expire on their valid until date, and you can void one that is no longer needed.

Watch it: the Finances lesson in Campus, step 3, “Send it and get an answer”, chapter 6, “After the answer” (starts at 1:54) and chapter 8, “Expired and void” (starts at 2:33).

The status menu

  • Send reminder emails whoever still has to act. Set a reminder picks a date for it.

  • Record client’s response: your client answered by phone or in person? Record it for them.

  • Reopen for client: they need to choose again.

Expired estimates

An estimate nobody answers by its valid until date reads Expired, and your client is told. To open it again, click Extend the date in its side panel and pick a new date.

Void an estimate

Void an estimate nobody has answered from the ••• on its row. It stays on the list, marked Void, and your client can’t answer it.
